my chances?

I applied for transfer for fall 2009 at the main campus and I want to know my chances of being accepted. I sent both my high school and college transcript.

High School:
ACT- 23
GPA- 2.43

2 years at 4-year University:
Credit hours: 60
GPA- 4.0

This is the only university I applied to for transfer. I have done various extracurriculars/community services, but there isn't really a need to list them as the above is what they really use to decide. Also, my major is biochemistry(pre-med).

will someone please evaluate my chances from my statistics? Thank you.

your HS gpa and ACT’s are pretty terrible, no offense. i think your GPA is worse than your ACT. I have no idea how they evaluate that vs. your college stats, so I can’t really give you a fair eval.

If you’ve been in college for +1-2 years, do they still take high school statistics that much into consideration? College is a lot harder and more complex than high school, so if I am sort of breezing through it, as I am with a 4.0, does high school really matter? I know some universities that you don’t have to give your high school transcript if you have done 30-60 hours.

Did they ask for the high school transcripts?

Given you already have 2 years of college, I think they’d be focusing more on that then your high school stats. You definitely would not have been accepted as a Freshman, but with 2 years at 4.0 you probably have a fighting chance as a transfer.

Good luck!

They require the high school transcript for all freshmans. You don’t have to send your ACT/SAT score, but i did anyway.
