I think that both are great schools, both with their pros and cons. Rankings I believe are a load of... well you know what I am getting at. As you have seen, there are rankings that support each college. In these times, there are polls and rankings for literally everything. Just look how many presidential election polls there were last year. Don't forget about all the weekly polls regarding presidential popularity. There are just as many rankings. I mean, think of all of them (business week, the economist, U.S. News, Princeton Review, CC, just to name a few), and I'm sure that each one will lean a certain way, just because of their opinion. If you disagree with me, go ahead and try to make me change my mind. I'm more than welcome to hear out someone who has different ideals than me =).

I mentioned Grad School cause many of those who teach at the undergrad level teach at the graduate level as well. Cornell is a GREAT school. Don't get me wrong here. I just tried to argue in that at NYU you receive a better and a more practical education, since you've got the City out the door. That's all. And yes, I am.

Lol oh brownman, call me up when you get that internship with an IBank your freshmen year, and have the wonderful business resources of NYC at hand...

while you're taking 16 credits and getting adjusted to social life.

The fact of the matter is, and has been stated many places before, you will not be getting any internships during the semester in business, and during the summer, guess what, Cornell kids go to NYC too!

Brownman777 - congrats on getting accepted to NYU! welcome to our college and I sincerely hope you love your time here, but it's kind of silly to argue you get a better education when you haven't taken a single class at either school. Stern is in NYC, but all that means is you'll be physically closer to the center of finance, not that you'll necessarily be a part of it. :)

im not talking just internships buddy
im talking full-time jobs right here.
where do they first go? NYU BABY :)

shakes head

Cornell is just as highly recruited by top NYC based business and Ibanking firms as Stern is.

The difference is, they love us so much they are willing to come all the way up here to catch us. They only have to take the subway to you guys.

The other difference with us is, we can offer them so many more options in terms of selection and curriculum: ILR, Hotel, AEM, Operations Research, PAM, Econ
