<p>I am a High School junior right now and am nervous about getting into schools. I have average grades w/ AP classes, pretty good test scores, and alot of extracurricular activities</p>

<p>GPA- 2.98 ( im confident i could get this up to a 3.1 before i graduate)
SAT(2400)-1480
On a Practice ACT i got a 22 but i think i can do better on the real test
And like i said i have AP Classes</p>

<p>Extracurricular Activities:
2 Years of FBLA and DECA
3 Years of Swimming ( all 3 years varsity)
2 years of Student Council
2 years of Peer Counseling
1 Year of Young Democrats</p>

<p>I am also African American, not that that really matters but i guess it will help for College..?</p>

<p>I live in Colorado and would like to go to to the University of Colorado because it is away from the city i live in. or i want to go the Arizona State or University of Arizona. and possibly Oregon State University</p>

<p>My parents are constantly telling me i am going to have to go to Community College and i am starting to think its true and i feel like a failure. I know it doesnt matter where you go to college and its what you do... but i really want to go to a University</p>

<p>So what are my chances. Sorry if posted all this wrong. my first post here :)</p>

<p>I have been a lifeguard and swim instructor for 3 years, and a Swim Team coach for 2 years</p>

<p>if you can bump that SAT up significantly, it would do you alot of good.</p>

<p>get a 24 on your ACT and your good at az state and u of a, dont know much about oregon state, but at boulder I know someone (from Illinois) who had a 2.5 and a 25 and got in so you should be ok</p>
