My Chances?

<p>Hey I'm going into senior year with a 3.5 unweighted GPA and I'm in the full IB Diploma program (the hardest course load available at my school). My current best score for the SAT is 1870 (1210), but I plan on taking them one more time in October, along with two SAT Subject Tests. I play football and my EC's include: Honor Council, 100 Hrs. Community Service, Radio Station, Peer Education, and Connections (school club). </p>

<p>I plan on applying to UMD, UVA, Georgetown, Davidson, W&L, Vandy, and Boston College.
I'd appreciate any comment about my odds of acceptance or any other advice. Thanks.</p>

<p>Do you know what your class rank is? From the information that you have provided us with, I would say:
UMD-is this Baltimore County? high match
UVA-reach
Georgetown-low reach
Davidson-low reach
W&L-reach
Vandy-low reach
Boston College-high match
I think that if you can get your UW GPA up to 3.7 and do well on your SAT retake, you should have a good shot at most of these schools. Good luck!</p>
