<p>I'm in writing club, art club, gospel choir, gay-straight alliance, National Spanish Honors Society</p>

<p>I have 220 community service hours</p>

<p>My junior year was a disaster. I have severe eczema and junior year was when i went from pre-IB to the IB program. The stress caused my skin to be completely unmanageable and my grades dropped like hell(I failed 2 classes), so my teachers forced me to go into partial IB. </p>

<p>my senior year has been perfect, no more than 1 B per quarter. Though the fact that my age now allows me to take certain steroids to control my eczema has definitely helped.</p>

<p>I'm hoping to send in my midyear report.</p>

<p>So, do I have a chance, or has my junior year screwed me over infinitely, in addition to my average-low stats?
My intended major is Computer Science</p>

<p>Your GPA is low for NYU, and the SAT score isn’t stellar, though not bad. </p>

<p>I don’t know the specifics of your story about Junior, but if you were able to convey it well enough in your application, you might have a shot.</p>

<p>ehh … your gpa is low… the average is like 3.6-3.7 uw, your sat’s are spot on except it should be 2100+ to make up for your gpa. Like I had a 3.45 gpa, which is low, but had a 2130 to balance it out. same with your act’s, you should have like a 32 to make up for the 3.3 but your chances arent bad</p>
