My chances?

I’m a junior at St. Edward, a college-prep private Catholic school in Ohio.

Looking at OSU as my first choice.

GPA through the first two years of high school is 3.5 (weighted, I think? I took 3 Honors classes freshman year, 2 sophomore year). Don’t know what it is UW.

Took an SAT class over the summer, my highest was a 1900 (630 Math, 670 Writing, 600 Reading).

Took a practice ACT last year, it was out of 26. I got a 22.

I’m taking APUSH, Honors Pre-Calc and Honors English right now along with Physics, Latin III, Religion and Film Studies so decently accelerated courses I would say(?).

A few extra-curriculars include Ambassador, Mentor (we “mentor” the incoming freshman by going to freshman-orientation events, and other stuff they do throughout the year), Investment Club member, and Film Society member.

Probably about 100 community service hours so far.

I’ve worked about 10 hours a week through school, 20 over the summer for my entire high school tenure as a dishwasher at a local restaurant. I plan on doing so through my senior year.

What do you think my chances are? I’m hoping to get around a 4.0 this year, but I’ll probably end up with a 3.7-3.8.

Thanks guys.

You still have time to get this ACT score up to where you wont have to worry so much. Get it to a 28 or 29 and you should be OK, especially if your APs are good. Keep working on an upward trend in everything and you should be OK.
