I'm a freshman at community college but I am transferring to a university in the fall. My class schedule for the fall is statistics, music and culture, abnormal psychology, and social problems.
My only concern is that all of the classes are for my major, except for the music and culture class. I am not sure if I have fulfilled that section already though.
So because all of my classes are for my major, is it bad that I'm not taking any general ed classes? I know that I'm not done them all, but I was not offered a big selection when picking classes because I'm not a current student there yet.

When you find out who your advisor is, I would email him/her and make an appointment to go over all of this information. I’m sure he/she will send you in the right direction. :)

I don’t see any reason why it would be considered bad to only take 1 gen ed next semester. If you’re concerned about the rigor, 3 major classes per semester is fine. Your school may have some rule where a certain number of junior and senior credit hours must be upper level classes, but one semester wouldn’t affect that. And as advised above, your adviser would be a good object for questions such as these.

I wouldn’t really worry about it. I transferred into psychology as a junior, and the majority of my classes each semester have been psych. My first semester and second semesters, I took 4 psych classes and 1 gen-ed, and next semester I’m taking all psych classes (though one is a TA position and one is research). As long as they’re not mostly 300 and 400 level your first semster I wouldn’t worry about it. You could still email your advisor though if you’re really worried.
