My class size is dropping...

Due to pregnancies and expulsions, my class size has dropped from...

628 to 600.

I'm starting to get concerned, because everyone who dropped was behind me in the rankings, thus making my rank less impressive. If this pattern continues, my class size could be down to 550 by the time I graduate!

That's 78 less people for me to be ahead of...

And yes, I am halfway serious.

I think you should just start off your posts by saying “Disclaimer: I’m a ■■■■■”.

You know, to quell the flaming?

I think my class had about 1300 students freshman year and now it’s 729 (I’m a junior).

Mine was 1/513 at the beginning of 12th than I think only ~300 people graduated. There was also a computer error… but that’s another story.

My class had 754 at the beginning and we’re down to around 650. By graduation, it’ll be roughly 600

Wow, that’s so weird that so many people drop…

Eh…if you saw my peers (if you could even call them that) you wouldn’t be so surprised.

Frosh year my class had 400+. Senior year around 174 graduated. Yeah.

My class size has definitely dropped too, but not due to pregnancies or expulsions. Everyone goes to rehab for drugs.

600 freshman year and will probably end up around 450 senior year.

My class dropped from 324 to 318. I have no idea who left, but I got a C and moved up in rank, so who cares.

Freshman year my class population peaked at 380. Now its about 320. People have moved, but there’s probably a larger portion of dropouts than I know about.

And I thought a school near Santa Clarita would have a fairly high graduation rate

There were about 850 when I was in 10th grade.

Shouldn’t pregnancies increase your class size?

There were about 1600 in my graduating class freshmen year. Remarkably, we graduated with about 1200. Not too shabby IMO.

We started with 1,300.

The senior class was 638 in the fall.

I think we’ll make it down to about 550 soon.

Gerontius, (post 15) you really had me laughing!

hint: when those newborns are born, ready for HS, it’s a pretty baaaddd high school!

Some of you guys have larger classes than my school has students! My class will lose some students to graduating early, but for the most part its size has remained constant.

Oh wow, I had no idea, so much of this actually happened.

I think my class of 400 or so hasn’t dropped at all. One girl got pregnant, and it was supposedly a big deal, but most people here get abortions so you don’t hear about it much. Too much of a stigma to bear. No expulsions or drug rehab that I’ve heard about really. Strange.
