Chances at: United States Coast Guard Academy

thanks

Hopefully, you have already submitted your application under Early Action (1) or Early Action (2) deadline.

If not, you have until Feb 1, the Regular Application deadline.

Yes, a recommendation from the Varsity coach at CGA can play a part in your admissions decision.

Your stats compare favorably with the stats form the current swab class.

Good Luck!

thanks for responding. I have another question. Someone from my school has already accepted an appointment to go to usgca. This person has superior academic stats compared to me. I’m not applying until regular decision. I’m wondering if the fact that this person has already been accepted will hurt my chances of getting accepted. Like does the admission office try to not to accept mutable kid from the same high school?

Mutable?

Basically I would say no, it shouldn’t have any effect on your application. All are treated as a separate entity and reviewed “holistically.” Good luck. :D

Does the coast guard academy require mid year report for senior year high school transcript? Or do they only see the transcript I send out now which only has the first quarter grades of this year?
