My College Chances

Hey guys, I'm a sophomore in high school, and I've been planning early for college. I'll start with my unweighted GPA's:

Freshman year GPA: 3.6
First part of my sophomore year GPA: 2.9 (but it's going up once this semester ends to maybe a 3.1 or 3.2)

I have not taken the SAT's, nor the CAPT, nor the ACT.

I am ranked 12 out of about 600 students in my high school, and after this semester, my rank will surely go up. This year I'm taking, for my four core classes, 2 AP and 2 honors. Last year, I took all 4 honors (as no AP classes are available to freshmen). Last year, I was placed on the high honor roll ever marking period. This year, due to my not so great grades in my AP classes, I did not make the honor roll, however there is a chance I will make it for the overall semester.

I am a member of these organizations:

Federal Business Leaders of America (FBLA)
Connecticut Collegiate Awareness and Preparation (ConnCAP)
Varsity Tennis
Marching Band
Concert Band
Robotics
Math Team

The colleges I am currently interested in attending (most likely for a business major) are:

Boston University
University of Massachusetts Amherst
University of Pittsburgh
Penn State University Park
State University of New York: Binghamton
Syracuse University
Northeastern University

If i keep my GPA up in the mid to low 3's, what would my chances of getting accepted into these colleges be? Any suggestions on improving my chances? Thanks!

Boston University- high match
University of Massachusetts Amherst- low match
University of Pittsburgh- high match
Penn State University Park- match
State University of New York: Binghamton- high match
Syracuse University- high match
Northeastern University- high match/ low reach

Chance me back!

High match means good chance?

if you keep your GPA around a 3.5 that would be your chances. And yes, high match means good chance.

Thanks man! Totally increased my confidence

I was accepted into UPitt for bioengineering with an act of 29 and 3.5 gpa with many ECs and difficult classes including 6 Ap classes
I am waiting for my results regarding Boston University, Uconn, Stony Brook, and Tufts
