I've applied and been accepted to IU and Valparaiso University. I'm finishing up my Notre Dame application as well.

I want to double major in English and theatre, so I don't want a conservatory theatre program. I don't want to apply to too many expensive schools that only offer need-based aid because I don't know how much I will qualify for.

I'm considering applying to Northwestern, that way I'll have both Notre Dame and Northwestern as my reaches, and if I get in and the financial aid situation works out I'd have two really good schools as options.

I'm applying to Kenyon, Denison, and Illinois Wesleyan since they're free to apply and I think the latter two would be more likely to offer me financial aid.

Are there any schools I should look into? I haven't decided on size or location yet but I plan on visiting all of the schools I'm considering over spring break so I can make a decision about that. In the meantime I'm applying to a wide variety of possible schools.

Some basic stats: 3.9/4.0 unweighted GPA, 9/413 rank, 2030 SAT (730 verbal, 600 math, 700 writing, new scores tomorrow though!)

Also, how are Denison and Illinois Wesleyan when it comes to theatre? What about if I wanted to try to get into graduate school at some place selective like NYU or Yale?

thanks for any info
