My counselor hasn't submitted forms or responded to me

I’m not sure what to do, I’ve simply sent her this email 3 times across the last month or so: Can you complete the School Report and fee waiver forms? She hasn’t responded yet.
Here is what it looks like on the common app:
School Counselor Invited: 11/18/2016
Fee Waiver Not started
School Report Started: 12/20/2016
Counselor Recommendation Downloaded: 01/10/2017

Obviously, most of my colleges had a deadline of around 1/15 and it’s a few days later now. What do I do? I would appreciate any help.

Have you stopped in to see the GC? Some make you “sign in” your consent to send this stuff to schools.

@HRSMom No. I’ve interacted with my counselor a lot and she’s never mentioned anything close to that. I honestly doubt that’s the problem or else she would respond to my email and tell me about it.

You need to go into her office and ask in person. The emails are not getting you what you need so go sit outside her office until she is free to see you.

My son’s school doesn’t even use Common app. He went in and found that all out. Everything goes via snail mail and Naviance. We never saw anything updated on common app and he’s already got all his acceptances.

Okay, I guess I’ll have to talk to her in person. I just don’t understand why she can’t respond through email. Are counselors just swamped in emails all day? Is my email just unnoticeable?

It depends on your school size. Can you imagine tracking 100-200 students or more? Just go in. It shows you care.

@Rdtsmith Well, if she started the School Report on 12/20/2016 and completed the Counselor Recommendation, doesn’t that mean that she and my school are integrated into the Common App?

I was just sharing my son’s experience. Not sure why you don’t want to call and just nicely ask.
