The average GPA of transfer applicants who are admitted to UCLA is 3.50, and most students who are admitted have completed most or all of the preparatory coursework for their majors."</p>
<p>Pay special attention to that word "average" - some depts expect higher GPAs and also have their own set of requirements for transfers.</p>

<p>Be careful to take only classes that will transfer and/or are applicable to your major...don't waste your time on classes that don't transfer.</p>
<p>--Used to be that all you had to do was attend a CC & get above a 3.0; there is entirely too much competition these days...</p>
