My CSS Profile is going to be like a day late for Bucknell...

I thought I had everything under control...but I let some of the financial aid stuff slip by me. I thought I didn't have to worry about that until like March, but I was wrong.

My family is leaving early tomorrow morning, and we'll be able to do it January 2nd. Bucknell wants the CSS Profile submitted by January 1st, so....

Hopefully due to the rush of paperwork and everything, they won't notice, but if they do - Will I just be disqualified for aid? For a day late?

From what I heard it depends on the school, I was supposed to turn in my CSS profile to Fairfield on Nov. 15, but I didn't know until it was too late. But when I called them, they told me that it would be alrite as soon as I hand it in sometime.

Hmmm, well last year I was like crazy late for my financial aid forms, at least a week if I remember correctly, and with some I never got a financial aid package (though for various other reasons in relation to the IDOC), anyway, out of my 12 colleges I believe I still received eight even though I handed in all my info late. Though be careful some colleges claim to have a reduced financial package for those who submit paperwork late, but from what I saw, any school which I completed all requirements I still got a financial aid package without reductions, but hmmm you should definitely try to get it in if possible or perhaps contact the school about this problem.

Is there anything other than the CSS profile that is due by January 1st for most schools? I now the FAFSA comes out then, but do certain schools have certain requirements for financial aid other than the CSS profile that have to be completed even before we know if we are accepted?
