<p>Rice is in a nice part of Houston and the campus is great. The surrounding area is expensive, nice houses and lots of trees. The medical center complex is across from Rice in the other direction. It is right near parks, museums etc.</p>
<p>Yeah, I figured it would be in a nice part. Dallas could be called crime ridden. Downtown can be pretty bad but then where I live it's a bunch of 3000+ square ft. brick mansions.</p>
