My dad accidentally went on fafsa.com and filled out all the information. Luckily, when he got to the last page and saw an $80 fee, he realized it wasn't the real FAFSA. We then proceded to change all the info we entered (social security, birthday, phone numbers, etc.) However, I am worried about the possibility of identity theft or our previously entered information being stored. Does anyone know anything about this?

fafsa.com is a legitimate company, don’t worry about it.

Yes it is more a rip off than a scam. I don’t think you have to worry about your data.
