I am a rising sophomore. I have just begun thinking about colleges. I signed up to take the SAT in January. I'm white (had to say it, parents are immigrants though, does that help? oh and I speak Polish). I have almost a 4.0. I do rowing. I go to a Catholic school. I take the hardest available classes. Most importantly, I'm on top of it.

I have some needs for a college. I'm from Washington state but that doesn't matter.
Here is my selection criteria:

The college/university:

should....

*be mid-highly selective (a good name, but the HYPSM are probably too risky to apply)
*have a nice campus in a nice city with passing board
*have a great pre-med program
*do at least some research in biology, chemistry, or physics (but it does not have to be a research college ;D)
*fit the above criteria as best as it can, but missing out on a couple bullet points would be A okay!

That being said, I show interest in 2 colleges. Actually, I absolutely adore these 2 colleges: University of California, Berkeley; University of Pennsylvania

Also I like, and nothing more than 'like', University of Washington. A last resort, a backup plan.

So please give me some colleges that I might want to research. Any input is VERY welcome and much APPRECIATED!

bye
