<p>So my Duke Alum Interviewer was supposed to be my friend's dad but since he knows me, he had to decline. So another lady called and said that she'll call back and set up a time after New Years. She still hasn't called & I don't have her contact info (didn't give me any, I was too stupid to ask...but I do know her phone number mainly because I did the *69 thing). Would it be too stalker-ish to call her although she didn't give me her number and I found it by myself?</p>

<p>You don’t need to worry just yet. The interviews are due mid February. But you have a great option. Have your friend’s dad contact the person in your area who is in charge of assigning interviews to check on yours. Ask him to very nicely ask the head honcho to remind your interviewer to contact you. If you don’t hear from her in a week, call her. I am an interviewer for Duke and I think this is your best option. People ask me all the time to check on whether they’ve been assigned yet etc. Good luck. And don’t worry too much about your interview. You absolutely won’t be penalized if they don’t interview you (although a great interview can help and this year with 27,000 applicants, every little bit helps.) Also the interviews don’t count for that much. Just go in there and be confident and funny and SHOW THAT YOU’VE MADE AN IMPACT!!!</p>

<p>@dukeblueduke: thanks! But my friend’s dad doesn’t really like it when people ask him for any type of college admission/application requests or questions unless they’re just there to talk about Duke. either way, I got an interview =)</p>

<p>I emailed duke about 3 weeks ago and they never replied.</p>

<p>Just relax if your interviewer hasn’t contacted you yet. They have until February 15th to finish them so there’s still a lot of time. People are busy and don’t get back to everybody immediately.</p>
<p>I have also not been contacted by my duke interview yet. I’m from NJ and I purposely submitted my app before 12/10 so I would be considered for an interview. That said, one of my friends who applied on 12/30 got an interview this week. I’m a little worried but the Duke website says you don’t have to contact them at all to request interviews. Hmmm</p>
