My e-mail sent out a mass spam/virus; do I notify colleges?

I'm a senior in high school and was peacefully awaiting my admissions decisions until yesterday when one of my e-mail accounts sent out a spam message to a lot of my contacts. I know this because I received the message in my other account and have had multiple people inform me already. The problem is that the affected e-mail address was the same one I received all of my college e-mails from the PSAT/SAT etc., so even though I used my other account for the official applications, most of the schools I applied to had e-mailed me in the past and thus may have gotten the message. I'm not sure who it got sent to precisely (some people I know haven't gotten it), but I know it reached a lot of people, and worst of all it had my full name listed as well.

Should I contact every college I applied to in case they got it and explain what happened? Or will they just know that it was a virus and that it wasn't my fault? Someone help me please, I have no idea what to do.

People can usually tell if a message is a spam (i.e. unintended)
