compared to what i've seen on this site, my ecs are total crap. i'm a musician, i take lessons and am in the orchestra at school, but i've never won any awards or anything, and i don't play in an orchestra outside of school. i'm in a community service club, but i don't play any sports (i've always wanted to, but i've never gotten involved in them, and now i feel like its too late, and my school doesn't have many options in athletics). i'm going to be volunteering at a hospital once a week this year.
how can i make my ecs stronger, and do i even have time to make them stronger? i'm a rising junior.
any help is appreciated, thanks a lot

Bump......

You have plenty of time to make up during your junior year.

I would say go for leadership positions (like your community service club), and start YOUR OWN community service projects, etc. For example, you don't have to work through your school clubs to get awards and such, but you can develop your own projects, like book drives or something that will not be exactly affiliated with your school, but will still show your involvement. Of course, you should make sure that officials can check your involvement somehow, whether it is through another adult, etc.
