UC's dont stress ec's as much as ur grades. how are your grades?

i have a 4.58 weighted im retaking my SAT 1780 again in October
SAT II Chem 690
Math 2 640 retaking

i think those EC's are fine.

what SAT scores are you aiming for? you have a great GPA. Which UCs are you aiming for?

are you a senior or junior? Do you live in cali?

Im a senior and im aiming for 2000 minimum im at about 1970- 2000 range on practice tests right now and i do live in Cali. I want to go to UCLA UCB or UCSD

match for ucsd. slight reach for LA and Berk.

what/how many aps have u taken? your ecs and academic record may vindicate you of weak standardized test scores.

Soph

H CHem
H LA
H World hist
H ALg 2
Span

Junior

AP Chem
AP US Hist
H La 3 but there is an ap test to this
H Pre Calc Span 3

Senior

AP ENviron
AP Lit
AP Calc BC
AP Gov/ Wcon H

what do u think i need to be considered for UCLA or UCB

These honors classes in which you have labeled "H" will not be considered honors to the UC's--exception of Pre Calc Honors--otherwise everything is of a 4.0 scale. your gpa will be recalculated into a UC gpa which will be lower. however, you have clearly chosen a highly rigorous courseload. UCLA and Berkeley are good matches. your SAT's indeed must be higher in order to be safe.

The AP's, however, are 5's. SAT must be at least 1900, according to your grades.

1900 ive been getting that im almost over the 2000 hump i pulled my first 2020 last test. But do u think a 2000, basketball, and my grades would do it for LA and Berkeley.

And by the way thanx for your guys responses

yes indeed.

If you get your SAT over 2000, you'd be a good match.

Good luck.

thankyou for all your feedback. any more appreciated just tryna get an idea of things while the application process is going on.

aoballer008:

UCB/UCLA: Slight Reach
UCSD: Match
