I'd like to know if my EC's are good enough. I'm an 11th grader entering 12th grade in the fall of 2013.

I know it sounds like alot of stuff but I'm homeschooled so my schedule permits me to do alot of EC's rather than staying at home all of the time. I plan on going to Yale in 2014, would these EC's make me a competitive applicant?

Unless your family plans to donate a few buildings to Yale, you can’t plan to be admitted.

Being homeschooled is good, because it gives you maximum flesibility to explore subjects and interests. However, the ones you have seem scattered. Forget about getting into college; what do you actually find interesting?

What are you studying? Have you taken standardized tests and done extremely well? You need to be able to show that you’ve learned a lot through your homeschooling. College is an academic community, and your academics are the primary consideration for almost any school.

By the way, how can you do things “in my high school” if you are homeschooled?

My GPA is good. I haven’t taken any standardized tests yet until March. I’m into technology and criminal justice. However I plan on majoring in International Affairs and Psychology.

Oh I forgot… I’m going back to traditional school for my 12th grade year thats where I’ll start my American Red Cross club and become a member of ASB, and Photography club.
