My EFC is 0...confused. HELP

Hi,

My SAR report that my EFC is 0 which is most accurate. Also my parents are separated, does this mean that i will get more aid from the school?

Can anyone help me with this?
I dont understand what does this mean:
Parents' Number in College in 2007-2008 (Parents Excluded):
Is this where I indicate on the FAFSA that my older brother is also in college?

Also, orginally i had for Parents' 2006 U.S. Income Tax Paid i put 0, but i dont know what this means either.

Thanks! Any help is appreciated as I am very lost in this process.

If your EFC is 0, it means that you are eligible for all of that aid, but, it is not guaranteed that the school you attend will provide it. Very few schools meet 100% need.

Number in college means you + brother = 2. Parents in college are not counted.

Do your parents pay 0 income tax? Was this the case for 2005? Or did something happen in 2006 that there will be no taxes AT ALL?? You really need to ask your parents.

Actually if you fill this online, you can get live help (chat) which I found quite useful. Good luck. Hopefully my information is accurate.
