Hello, I am an ECE student and am having trouble deciding on what field I should specialize in.

I have a particular liking for math, and am strongly thinking specializing in signal processing with a minor in math to get very good at complex analysis because the engineering version I am required to take is very shallow, in fact its so shallow that they mix PDE's in with it.

however, I also like electronics and am also strongly thinking of specializing in microelectronics with a minor in either physics or chemistry to get the quantum mechanics or organic chemistry credential because I feel that nanotechnologies are going to become very big in the next decade, and from what I have read; that to work with nanotechnologies, specifically graphene, a strong understanding of quantum mechanics and/or organic chemistry is needed.

My fear is that perhaps nanotechnology is still too much into its infancy, and that placing time/money/my-degree that it will boom is a bad idea

thoughts, ideas, criticisms; please

Edit: Let it be noted that, whether I go with a math, physics, or chemistry minor, only need about 2-3 classes
