Well, I'm finished with them, and I've already gotten them edited. But seeing as how I'm such a procrastinator, I'm not going to send in my stuff until tomorrow afternoon, just because I still want my counselor to give me a fee waiver! Stupid, I know...well, if any of you are interested in reading my essays, maybe giving me some last minute advice, I'd appreciate it!

.....OMGOSH, I CAN'T BELIEVE THE DEADLINE IS ALMOST HERE!!! AHHHH! Gulps for air Sorry, I had to get that out of my system....

Saving $75 is stupid? Never! I'm submitting mine tomorrow afternoon as well, everythings done - just need to paste my supp. essay into the form.

Read your essay out loud, it might help catch some loose end.

My own question - in the online app "how did you become interested in applying to Yale", would it be bad to run about 75 words instead of the 50 they suggest? Mine is 50 flat right now - but I would like to add a sentence about fencing and their NCAA team.

Edit: 2 more questions - anyone know if the admissions comittee knows the date and time you submitted your
app?

What happens when you press the submit button on the common app? Does it go to a confirmation screen before submitting it?

DualAnya - I'll read it (if you're still here)

ColorfulPig - Personally, I'd stick with 50 words. I have a feeling that's one of the questions they'd count the words for or something. They REALLY want you to be concise. And I'm pretty sure the school knows the date/time.

the online app actually limits the number of characters you can submit. it wouldn't even let me do 50 words. as long as it fits in that space, though, you're fine.

and yeah, there's a confirmation screen first.
