It consists of alot of upper divs:

Chem 153a Biochem
MCDB 165A Cell biology
Stats 13
LS2

total 18 units. think its doable? Im a transfer student.

Lol calm down and don’t do chem 153a just yet

As a transfer ur prob best off taking chem 153a later. People say UCLA classes are harder than CC by a ton (assuming you are transferring from cc). Chem 153a is also one of the hardest classes in my opinion, especially since its pretty much one of the last classes all the pre-meds have to take. Is it doable? probably, but definitely not recommended.

Stats 13 is easy, ls2 will take some work and im not sure about MCDB, but I’d guess it also is somewhat time consuming. Probably taking out chem 153a for an easy class would be better, or just going 3 classes.

Also consider the fact that almost everyone else in your classes took lower division chem at ucla, so they have an immediate advantage over you since the class builds upon a lot of the chem foundations taught in the UCLA 14/20 series.

so what are some easy upper divs that i can take with biochem when it eventually comes down to it?

how does this look? switch out the mcdb class for astronmy 4 which i heard is easy as A. Stats easy A. Ls2 and biochem being my 2 hard classes.
