<p>Before screwing your dad’s opinion, talk to him about it. Don’t talk to him about the apps and the finances, etc, but rather about what his deal is. Not confrontational, but instead, “Hey dad, I need some help with college stuff, and you won’t help. What’s the deal, I just want some advice.” Try to discuss exactly why he’s blowing you off. Also… a little negative energy here, but it does not exactly behoove you to describe yourself as “the kind of person you want to meet.” Well that may very well be true, it sort of sent the wrong impression my way, when I first started reading. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck in your app process, and I hope you get to the bottom of the dad problem.</p>
