Idea-wise, certainly Douglas Rushkoff’s Media Virus!

^^I like those depressing kinds of books haha. But I kind of know what you mean, the ending wasn’t as satisfying as it could have been. I think part of it was because he would have talked to Hannah and fixed it but he couldn’t, obviously. I think because he never could fix what happened could be what gave us the empty feeling.

The Soul of a New Machine :D

the hunger games series! they are seriously amazing.

also, model home is a great book for those who appreciate a dry sense of humor.

“Brave New World”, “Nineteen Eighty-four”, “Animal Farm”, “Little Women”, “Netochka Nezvanova”, “Crime and Punishment”, “The Kite Runner”, “A Corpse in the Koryo”, and “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”.
I can’t choose one. :(

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows :P

Pride and Prejudice <3<3<3

Discipline and Punish by Foucault.

Kite Runner is another really good book. We read it in english and it was amazing!

Blood Meridian

1984 by George Orwell. Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer.
And The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen.

First two were school books that may have performed inception on me. They planted ideas. Big ones. Last one was just too lovely to not be on this list.

Don Quixote or Les Miserables or Count of Monte Cristo…

Ahh…Can’t choose…

Probably Count of Monte Cristo since I absolutely adore the character Haydee.

None of them read in school… I just love reading :3

I just realized how little I’ve read this year… I’ve read three books (outside of required reading) over the course of the entire year.
Ah, my favorite book of all time might be The Giver or Ender’s Game. The Hunger Games was very good at first but had little resolve by the end of the series. I don’t like the plot of The Great Gatsby, but it’s one of the most well-written books I’ve ever read in terms of writing style, so I’ll put that on my list of favorite books as well.

I’m reading Proust atm. It is amazing…

^^Ender’s Game is very good, and the Great Gatsby is one of my favorites. I’ve been meaning to read the Hunger Games trilogy

^^ YES. It is the shiz

I’m getting Sodom et Gomorrhe soon; I’m so psyched

My overall favorite book has been Catch-22 by Joseph Heller

Everyone else I know who read it (it was an option for summer reading) hated it, but I loved it so much @_@

But generally when asked this my favorite book is almost always the last book I read, cause it’s usually on my mind. Right now it’s (excuse my lack of accents) Pere Goriot by Honore de Balzac. Right now I’m reading The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux and it’s really good too.

^Just downloaded Catch-22 on audio. I’m so excited to read it; it’s my mom’s favorite book and my sister loved it as well.

That’s frightening lol an audio version of Catch-22 sounds like hell. I hope you like it, though :)

Well, right now it’s the Harry Potter series. I just got back into it.

Also, I hate Great Expectations. Has anyone ever read it and does anyone have an opinion about it?
