Please make a post about what university or college you attended freshmen year, and what you really loved about freshmen year there.

parties at Penn State.

I hate college but love all the parties, finishing kegs and crushing bottles of Bacardi.

I go to UW-Madison.

Honestly, what I enjoy most about Reed is the academic environment and the strong sense of community. People often say that universities have a stronger sense of school spirit than LACs (mostly due to sports; as if sports=school spirit and pride), but this is certainly not true at Reed. Everyone here has the utmost respect for their professors, their peers, and the mission of the college itself.

The parties and liberal atmosphere are also very nice.

My favorite part (will be) way less class time than in high school! 3 classes instead of 6!

One word… Chicks

Oh man, there are so many things that I absolutely love about college.

Not having to tell my parents where I was when I come home at 3 A.M. on weekends.

On a more serious note, I really love the fact that I can join student groups and organizations that are pertinent to my interests. Not only am I gaining invaluable real-world experience and career-building opportunities, but I am also making best friends with people who have the same interests I do.

Plus, the school I go to has an EXTREMELY attractive male population. That’s always a plus.

^ what college do you go to, if I may ask?

I go to Indiana University.

Ow owwww!

I go to a Hawaii Community College.

I love the small classes & the diversity.

I love living across the street from the most awesome club in the city.

Lastly, I love my History class & professor:)

so hard to choose just one…but I’d have to say my favorite part about college is the friends I’ve made and the memories I share with them (I go to Michigan State)

some other things - parties, hot guys, sporting events, professors, jobs/research opportunities, student orgs, the general atmosphere of learning, independence etc.

is food at all good at college?
