My FINAL chance thread- several LACs

<p>Chance me for the following schools:
Wooster
American
Wesleyan
Hamilton
Kenyon
Lehigh</p>

<p>Stats:
GPA- 3.925 UW 4.41 W
SAT- 2110 (650 CR 700 M 760 W)
Subtest Tests- 650 Math 2 690 Math 1 720 US History (I know, not up to CC standards. I didn't have much time to study</p>

<p>Im retaking the SAT I in Jan, expecting to get my CR in the 700s.</p>

<p>Rank- 25/251
School- above average public
APs- US History (5)
Micro, Macro, Bio, Calc AB (have now)
Essays: decent
Recs: Good, from my US history ad Calc teachers</p>

<p>ECs: slightly below average to average. Started most of them as a junior. A few small awards, nothing big. </p>

<p>I'm expecting to get in everywhere but Wesleyan. Am I off in that prediction?</p>

<p>I think you will have no problem getting into all these schools. Maybe wesleyan is a reach, but with ED, it could easily be considered a match. Please chance back!</p>

<p>I’m not doing ED to Wesleyan. Ironically, even though it is the most competitive, it isn’t my first choice.</p>

<p>You seem to be in pretty average shape for your list of schools, the biggest reach obviously being Wes, but, if this isn’t your first choice, who cares?</p>

<p>I think you have good chances, but it really could go either way. A lot of times with these small LACs, after they sift through your numerical stuff, what they really want is something that makes you a diverse and interesting member of their class. So it could go either way, but I wouldn’t be too concerned.</p>

<p>Also, taking the SATs again usually doesn’t change your score very much. You can study a lot, but don’t expect too great of a jump in your CR.</p>

<p>Yeah, I agree. I would only attend Wes if they have me the most financial aid. My essay is actual about my experiences at an uber-liberal summer church that I go to, so it will definitely make me stand out, especially at LACs.</p>

<p>The only reason I’'m retaking the SATs is because my CR practice test scores were 50-100 points higher. And frankly, why not take it again?
Ignore the gibberish at the bottom; I hate the CC app.</p>
