Schools:

UCLA, UC Berkeley, Brown (EMMA WATSON), Georgetown, Yale, Columbia, NYU Stern, Reed

I think that’s about it. I know I’m aiming high. :| This is a lot of copypaste, but I updated it a bit and I would be glad to get your replies! Thanks a lot, and leave a link to your thread in your comments so that I can chance you back!

You have an excellent shot at all of those schools.
I would say:

UCLA: In
UC Berkeley: Low Match
Georgetown: Low Match
NYU Stern: Low Match
Brown: High Match
Yale: Low Reach [ as for everybody.]

I would not be surprised if you didn’t get into all of your planned schools!

I agree with the poster above, you have favorable chances at these schools, and it helps that you live in California for the UCs.
UCLA-match
UC Berkeley-match
Gerogetown-match
NYU Stern-match
Brown-low reach
Yale-reach
Good luck!

UCLA-match
UC Berkeley-match
You should get into all the UCs…

Georgetown-match
NYU Stern-match
Brown-low reach
Yale-reach

Yale is a reach, but I’d say that the others are matches. Good job!

Please chance me:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/749947-could-i-get-into-any-these-colleges-2-3-2-4-gpa.html</a></p>

Yeah…I’ve seen your threads around. :)

I think that you’ll do okay in the admissions process, even considering the growing numbers. Yale, GTown and Stern are reaches for everyone.

You’re in at all the UCs.
Georgetown-match to high match
NYU Stern-match
Brown-high match to low reach
Yale-reach

Honestly, try to make yourself seem less Asian in the essays (wow this sounds horrible).

chance back?:!http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/749762-chance-scared-little-man.html</a></p>

Bump, and thanks to all of you who posted! I really appreciate the feedback. :)

Your rank/Asian/CA will make the ivies hard. Yes to the others.

judging by our hs numbers…

UCLA, UC Berkeley: prob in
Brown, Columbia: reach
Georgetown, NYU Stern: match/in
Yale: high reach
Reed: idk how selective it is, but based on the kids i know who were accepted…in

I would guess something along the lines of 6 acceptances 1 waitlist 1 rejection
basically ur set

for the reaches the best thing you can do is write a really unique essay, and make sure the teachers who write your apps praise you as one of the best students they every had.

You’re solid for the UCs, NYU and Reed, I would say the Ivys are a low reach, with the exception of Yale, I would say that’s just a genuine reach, but you gotta have goals. Georgetown is a low reach i would say.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/750122-hopeful-engineer-bad-science-grades.html</a></p>

UCLA: excellent
UC Berkeley: very good
Brown (EMMA WATSON): good
Georgetown: good
Yale: lower
Columbia: good
NYU Stern: very good
Reed: very good

Please chance back:

I think you have a pretty good chance at NYU, UCLA, UCB. Also I think Columbia and Georgetown are a bit of a reach, but you should be fine! Your SAT score is amazing good job!!! and good luck =]]
