The Fulbright Scholarship is perhaps your best accomplishment. That you have been validated in a formal way. That being said, the following is likely

-Harvard - Reach
-Stanford - Reach
-U.Chicago - Match
-Columbia - High Match
-Duke - High Match
-UPenn - High Match
-Amherst - High Match
-JHU - Match
-Middlebury - Low Match
-Vassar College - Low Match

University of Chicago and Duke for sure.

I think you have a good chance at all the colleges except perhaps the top 2 that you listed. This is not cause you are qualified its just because so many others with the same kind of stats as yours apply… They are essentially reaches for everyone but you def have a chance at them. Just highlight your passion and have a “flagship” statement in your essays and you will be suprised where you can get into…

Good luck!

Bubblesforsale, thank you i’ll try highlight that particular award in my application.
mmidkiff28, getting into either school would be such a blessing
jakjak1, i’ll make sure to write great essays. Thanks for the wishes.

Marcelo, thanks for chancing me, you seem to be a very positive person. Not to hurt you, but even though I think you have great chances at all of these college, have you thought of how you are going to afford it? You have less than 6,000 dollar income and the Ivies typically don’t give any money to internationals. I say apply to every Ivy and see which gives you the most money. I doubt Harvard will give you any, so I’d apply around. I hope you choose JHU, very international friendly.

Galaxialto, i always try to stay positive. I made my college list based on which schools awarded the most financial aid to international students, according to Harvard’s website admission there is need-blind and need-based for foreign applicants (so it’ll meet the accepted student’s financial need), Amherst and Dartmouth have the same policy :). I know that getting scholarships from top tier universities is extremely hard but i’m going to try anyways. I’d love to go to Johns Hopkins, hopefully we’ll meet there. Thanks for chancing me.

hot damn. if you don’t get in, I don’t know who could! 'grats on that 760 CR as someone who isn’t a native english speaker! just one question: how do you have friends at stanford if you live in peru? haha that’s so cool! did they go to your school too?

u are in!!!all probably

Hi bluenotebook2, thank you, i certainly worked very hard to improve my English in order to get that score, and also i got lucky. I graduated from a small military school and only 3 of my classmates go to college. In 2009 i was selected to attend the National Youth Science Camp that took place in Charleston,WV there i met a lot of great people and some of them are attending Stanford :). Thank you for the input.

Thank you stripesnstars, i hope you’re right :)

wow! you’ve done an incredible job. I’d say match for all besides Harvard because you can never be too sure but if they don’t accept you I’m not sure who they accept. outstanding !

I think you have shots in all those top schools, but they’re “reach for anyone” schools so you still could rejected from any of those schools
