Please chance for UCB, UCLA, UCSD, UCI, Stanford for Civil/Environmental Engineering and give any suggestions to brighten my Stanford app.

Your SAT’s are not amazing, making Stanford a high reach because of the sub-2200 and SAT II’s. Everywhere else seems to be a good match

Thanks for the critique. That’s how I feel, but I feel like I have to apply anyways. Everyone says its a crapshoot anyways.

From what I’ve heard from my friends that are 1st year college students, you’re basically in to all the UC’s, and reach for Stanford.

I see Berkeley engineering in your future. Hard to beat that.

Yay! Thanks everyone.

Do you guys think I can get any merit or need-based scholarships from Berkeley?

Family income should net you some need-based scholarships, as well as considerable financial aid. Cal resident and good GPA/Class rank might get you some merit, although you would have a lot of competition

Thanks disaster! How much total financial aid (if it’s possible to calculate) can I expect? My brother goes to UCLA, so it will be 2 children in college.
