My first day on CC...CHANCE ME (:

okay…sry to be defensive, i didn’t mean anything by it :expressionless: i’m just upset now bc there was no possible way to take HL math because our IB coordinator wouldnt let me take more than 4 HL courses so it wasn’t entirely my fault :(

whats ur approx predicted score out of 42 for IB?

hrmmm its still early in the year, perhaps ask your counsellor to change to hl? wharton is more quant focused than other schools so math should be your priority anyways. Change another course to sl if needed. I ended up taking an engineeering stream to fit hl math in, if you like other subjects that much more, perhaps wharton is not the right fit?

If all else fails, emphasize leadership. Wharton loves leadership (and quant)

whats ur predicted?

This is why I don’t ask people to chance me, because in the end, these people aren’t admissions reps. There’s many other things that will determine your entry other than scores, and you even have the chance of an interview. The members run off of a “4.5+ GPA & perfection or rejection” motor and it’s sad.

:\ too late for me, its my senior year already, halfway thru IB
um. our meeting for how the points add up so that we will understand out of 42 is next week so…ill let you know, i had to take the French SL test last yr after only one half of the curriculum bc it wasnt for sure they’d offer it again this year, and i got a 5 so i think thats decent (for only knowing half the material lol)
and supermodella, thanks, you put me back into perspective, i guess it was dumb putting all that up, i just got all hyped after visiting…i think everyone has a pretty good chance, it all comes down to what god has planned for me i guess (:

hey ^ seriously. don’t worry about it. i mean, worry…but don’t let people here make you worry more, ya know? just apply, do your very best, and leave the rest up to the adcoms. only they can judge whether or not you are wharton material, k? good luck! =)

To whoever said Wharton is a definite “No,” that’s just false. Completely false, and you are quite silly for suggesting that.

No problem, don’t sweat this thing at all. I don’t have a 4.0 but I’m still on the honor roll, and I have real dedication to my major (Communications/Journalism) through my extracurriculars and essays. You can always make up for anything you lack.
