I couldn
t restrain myself from doing my first SAT test any longer, so I
ve just finished the pre-test available on collegeboard.com. English is my second language and I
m planning to start my preparation for taking SAT in January in two weeks[currently I
m working on TOEFL], so I have plenty of practice material - blue book, old ten real sats and barrons, and I
m curious whether it
s possible to raise my writing and reading scores as close as possible to 800 and do i need any further material for achieving this goal? Has anyone had such experience in raising their scores from roughly 700 to 800?
ps and my scores are - Math 790, Reading 680, Writing 75(of 80 multi-choice)

Those scores are very similar to what I got on my first practice test. After some practice with the Blue Book I managed to get 770 Reading and 80 Writing MC subscore. I only prepped for about a month, so it is surely possible.
