My first semester ok for ucs?

AP GOV- B
AP PHYSICS C- B
AP CALCULUS AB- B
MODERN LIT- A
SPANISH HONORS 7/8 - C

You think those are ok with the ucs? Admissions will not be in jeopardy?
UCLA
UCB
UCI
UCD
UCSB
UCSD
UCR

its below a 3.0...

you might be in a little trouble.

how is it below 3.0

It's exactly a 3.0.

You're fine chang - I would only be concerned if your grades sucked major previously and if you were in a situation where you would need to challenge your admissions decision.

3.83 weighted

my grades are fine previously, im just trying to maintain a b average so i hope my grades for first semester are adequate for the ucs

Once again...in determining whether or not you are accepted. The UCs do NOT look at your senior year grades. Only after you are admitted will they see these grades. And only then can they rescind your admission if your grades are REALLY bad. And in this case, your grades aren't REALLY bad. So chill out.

thx venus , you calmed my anxiety

crap! my senior grades are the best ive ever had and they aren't worth anything?

changbj88:

The UCs don't care about your senior grades until you've been admitted to them. You're still okay, as long as your GPA stays above 3.00 unweighted.

Stays above? What if it IS a 3.0 UW?

Sorry, I was inaccurate -- stays at least a 3.00 unweighted.

kool thx flopsy, another good ,reliable fact from flopsy :)

why do people don't do well in their senior year?

that's why UC's are not for me. i want a fair system.

There isn't a fair system. Why don't people do well? Well, many want to do other things than school.
