I've "narrowed" my list to these 29 colleges and I would like to know CC's opinions of them.
As for me, I am a student that has moved from Charlotte, NC to Baton Rouge, LA and I enjoy having city life but with nice kept surroundings (like in Charlotte) would these colleges fit the bill? How is campus, dorm, and school life? THANK YOU!

Ya might want to include some safeties in that list.

I’d strongly suggest that you get your hands on a good college guide book or two (Fiske, Princeton Review) and read up on the schools.

You have some great schools on your list! John Hopkins is a great school right in Baltimore if you’re looking for a city lifestyle. If you are looking for a very urban campus, I would suggest looking at colleges in Pittsburgh or Boston. There are over 60 colleges in Boston. Boston is a really clean city with lots to do and with so many colleges and universities, I’m sure you can find one you like (depending on your opinion and academic profile, etc.)
