My friend got in

My friend just got his letter today for engineering. I know he applied early, like the first week of september.

ahh! I applied at almost the same time and still no letter :-(

Maybe it's in the mail!!

are you sure? seems too early still.

That sounds about right, assuming your friend is a strong candidate and that his school sent his transcripts in early too.

what were his stats like?

Does anyone know if LSA is on a different admit schedule than engineering?

One of my buddies just told me that he has been accepted.

27 ACT, close to 4.0 (uw) GPA

Pretty sure he applied to LSA.

My D just checked her Wolvervine access account and her acceptance was online. Her application was completed 9/29- so it only took 2 weeks. She's still needs to hear about the Ross decision-

What did the online acceptance say?

i know his GPA is probably a 4.0 unweighted, and i know he got a 36 on his math score, his brother goes to U of M, and he applied early. That is all I know. I think he applied online

When you press view decision it says "Congratulations! We are delighted to inform you that you have been accepted as a student at the University of Michigan..." it has other info too, but does not address Ross at all. My D has not received anything in the mail yet.

I'm curious to know as well. Was the decision made today?
All this talk is making me more nervous/anxious.
Congrats to all those who have been accepted already though!

I'm sure the decision was made at the end of last week. (I doubt they work weekends) There really was no reason for her to check Woverine access-It was only seeing that acceptances were being sent out per CC. I think the surprise for her is that it happened in 2 weeks.

How did you even get wolverine access? I really want it so I can check my information online but I could not even figure out how to make the username/get an id number and whatnot. :(

Congrats to your friend!

To register with Wolverine access, just follow the instructions on the e-mails from Mich. Username is your e-mail.

Hmm, I only got a email from Michigan saying that they received my application, but they never sent me an email with the University of Michigan ID that I need to login to wolverine access.

I think it's the second e-mail with the info (there are 3)

The readers actually do work weekends, a lot of them. But admit decisions are not made on weekends.

savvymom - i'm in the same boat with akhila. I sent in my app, got an e-mail saying it was sent, then got another one saying it was received. But there was no UM ID number in any of those, nor was there one in any of the Wolverine Access sign up e-mails. Where did you guys get your UM ID numbers? It won't let me check status without the number.

I registered to receive an email when the application would be ready online. My ID was in that email
