<p>Tell him that if he's so interested in applying to college, he should do his own research that includes checking out colleges' admissions web sites to see how he compares to their freshman class. He also could look here on CC and compare himself to students who were rejected and accepted last year. In addition, he could pay $15 to have access to the US News Premium college web site that gives lots of info about what percentage of the freshman class has certain stats.</p>
