My friend has a crap load of EC's...I dont even know where to start.

GPA: I only know the weighted is around a 4.5

Rank: 5 out of 700 (high school doesnt put ranks on transcripts if you dont want them to).

SAT: 750 M, 750 V, 790 W, 800 Math II, 740 Lit.

ACT: 35

I really hope he gets in there. He works his butt off, and is really a smart, talented kid. Hes not one of the typical nerds who just study, hes got a good social life and everything, and is just a great, well rounded person. What do you think his chances are?

well I would tell your friend Jethro that he and his "crap-load" of ec's will get in...if he believes in his heart... why isnt there a disney movie about someone trying to get into college

Hmm...he has a 1500 on the old format...great writing score plus great IIs....great rank....if that "crapload" has some original stuff in it, he might have a pretty good shot.

haha. and yes, i frankly would much rather see timmy try to achieve his dreams of ive leaguery than attempt to save the world, master ice hockey, or see just who is haunting the damn megaplex.

chances threads are the most useless things ever. if you think all the admissions officers do is punch numbers and figures into a formula, then i think you might be wrong.

the answer as always: ask yourself, no one knows.
