How are things looking for UPenn, Dartmouth, Columbia, Brown, UCB, UCLA, UCSD?

:o

You seem like a matchs for the UC but for those top Ivy’s i’d say reach just because you ECs don’t really exemplify you interest in w/e you want to major/study

UPenn - high match to low reach
Dartmouth - low reach
Columbia - reach
Brown - high match to low reach
UCB - match
UCLA - match
UCSD - match

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/858597-chance-me-cornell-upenn-etc-ill-chance-back.html

You have very good grades and test scores. The only thing that could potentially hold you back at this point is the fact that your EC’s appear to be somewhat scattered, and while they’re all pretty solid and many of them appear to be in science, there’s nothing HUGE, such as being the winner of Intel ISEF or USAMO/USABO/USNCO. Also, if you’re Chinese by race, then the Chinese awards won’t look particularly impressive. I’d say you have just as good a chance as all the other academically qualified applicants.

UPenn - reach
Dartmouth - match
Columbia - reach
Brown - match
UCB - match
UCLA - match
UCSD - match

Penn, Dartmouth, Brown, Columbia - you should get into one of these.
The UCs - In at all.

Had a girl from my school get into Dartmouth with a 3.8UW and a 2230SAT, she also got into Columbia, so I say you have a good shot at those. UCs - IN.
