So I took like a ton of AP's but I didn't do so well and just:

UW is like a 3.6, W is like a 4.1, will probably have it up to like a 4.2 maybe 4.3 if I include the first semester of senior year.

I took too many AP's and got really overwhelmed, it was the stupidest decision. Even all the other insane overachievers at my school only took 4 or 5 AP's at most, I just thought I'd outdo everyone with all AP's - 6 - and I totally bombed it.

I've taken every weighted class available to me. I will have taken 13 by the end of high school.

I go to an extremely competitive school in California with terrible grade deflation.

I've never gotten a C, just lots of B's and some A's. I feel like I stayed up till 3 am every night like everyone else and missed all my A's by one or two percent.

I've always thought of myself as a pretty good student (lots of clubs, leadership positions, sort of unique sports/hobbies - figure skating, I speak 6 languages, 3 of which I taught myself entirely on my own - , very intellectually voracious, I'm told often that I'm quite mature/eloquent, etc.) I don't mean to sound vain or arrogant, but I always just thought I was a more 'smart' person and now looking at my numbers I realize I look like an idiot.

Sorry for the rant, but do I still have a shot at good schools? My SAT is a 2200, I'll have good letters of rec, writing is a very strong suit for me so I'm hoping my essays will be good.

The UCs do not take letters of rec. In addition, a high GPA is very important for the UCs. High SAT scores do not help much for getting accepted by the UCs. Only UCSB seems to like high SAT scores. However, UCSB is less selective and not as good of a school as UCD and UCI, so you may not be very interested in it. I think you should try to apply to non-UC schools if you want to go to a good school.

You are not an idiot. You were courageous to tackle so many APS. Though your GPA may nix the top UCs. you can thrive at the ones who do want you, be at the head of the class there, hopefully nail a great college GPA, and tend a great grad school. High school GPA is just one step, a willingness to stretch yourself can serve your whole life. Best of luck.

First calculate your UC GPA, see link:<a href=“GPA Calculator for the University of California – RogerHub”>http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc
Since you took many AP classes, I would estimate your UC GPA to be around 3.9 or higher
I agree with @Dream0n that you have a good chance at UCD, UCSB, UCI, UCM, UCSC and UCR.
UCSD is a low reach along with UCLA and UCB. USC could be a High Match.
There are many more schools that you would have a chance. Good Luck

I’m sorry I didn’t mention, just because I’m from California does not mean I’m looking exclusively at UC’s. I actually hope to leave the state. Could anyone please chance me for good schools that are not UC’s?
