My GPA on ACT website!?

What the heck ACT has the stupidest way of calculating your gpa look at this:

We will calculate and report to colleges an unweighted GPA on a 4.0 scale based on the grades you provide for courses in English, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Social Studies. The information you give may be verified by college personnel. You may wish to refer to your previous high school grade reports or a copy of your current high school transcript to help you complete this section.

Indicate the final grade (last grade) you received for each course. If you took the course for more than one term, report only the LAST term grade you received. Convert numeric grades to the corresponding letter grades. Round to the closest letter grade if necessary. Select "No grade" if you have not yet completed a full term of the subject or if a grade was not awarded for the course.

THE problem with this is that it calculates my unweighted as 4.0! Yes, that is true it would be that on this website because every 2nd semester I go all tryhard and get all A's so it would say a 4.0.. My real cumulative unweighted GPA though is a 3.63.. What do I do..?

I wouldn’t worry about it. I doubt that any college is going to use the ACT GPA calculation as your official GPA in their application process. Since you will be providing an official transcript with your application, that’s what the college will use to confirm your GPA.

Also, from what I have been told by my child’s guidance counselor, some colleges even enter your grades into their own GPA calculator to modify it to their own liking. Presumably, that means they give heavier weight for core classes (English, Math, Soc. St., Science), as well as honors, AP, IB, etc, and lighter weight to art, PE and electives.
