My GPA Trend

Freshman Year:

2.783
2.433

Sophomore Year:

3.567
4.000

Junior Year:

Either a 3.9, 3.95, or a 4.0

What would this trend tell colleges about me as a student?

Would my GPA be high enough for colleges?

You shouldnt have a problem getting in anywhere assuming you keep the work up and have the ECs/test scores

Yea, I have a similar problem. I got like B+ to A- averages freshman and soph year but A's and A+'s junior and so far in senior year. I got denied to Penn ED, but hopefully it won't hurt with my RD schools.

That's not similar at all...I had C's and you had B's and A's.

bump please...

I'm the opposite way
Freshman Year: 3.95, 3.9
Sophomore Year: 3.95, 3.85
Junior Year 3.6, 3.65

SHS Spartan, just out of curiosity, where do you go to High School?

I'm on the same boat you are..

3.5000
3.8333
4.5243
4.2371
4.8511
5.1100
5.3000

I guess it's good for colleges to see an improvement, but it's definitely better to have a high GPA throughout all of high school. But a strong improvement is definitely a good thing. I hope so anyway, if not I won't get accepted anywhere :(

"Shouldn't have a problem getting in anywhere." Why do people write such things? No problem at Harvard????? Colleges below the top 30 are more likely to care about trends. For top schools, it won't help.

armando:
how is it possible to have over a 5.0 gpa?

arklogic, as I stated, my GPA is weighed.

AP classes are on a 6.0 scale, honors classes on a 5.0 scale, and regular classes on a 4.0 scale
