My GPA vs. UC's GPA calculations for non-resident?

Hello!
I just read on the UC’s website that non-resident student must have a GPA of 3.4 or higher (http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/freshman/out-of-state/index.html) to be considered for their schools. I currently reside in Colorado, and my GPA from Junior year is a 3.29 (UW).
I know UC’s have their own way of calculating GPA’s, so does anyone know if they’ll use the UC way of calculating my GPA, or whatever GPA is on my transcript to see if I meet the 3.4 requirement?

If you need clarification on what I mean, please ask! Thank you.

They’ll use the UC way of calculating your gpa because the UCs do not count Freshmen year grades.

Go to this website http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

then tell us what your UC GPA

Do not count 9th grade courses or before.

@wmolyneaux Thanks!

@NASA2014 With my three AP classes, it’s 3.68, but including my two honor classes (I’m not sure if those count…) it’s 3.76.
Just to make sure, I used both semesters for my Junior and Sophomore year, is that good?

Honors courses only count if they are listed at http://doorways.ucop.edu , which lists only those at California public and private high schools and community colleges.

@ucbalumnus Oh, I see, thanks. That didn’t affect my CU GPA by too much, so I guess it’s okay.
