My grades are slipping and so is my mentality.

I started working as a part time worker… But I’ve been focusing on my work way more than my school. I work almost 50 hours a week. I used to get really high grades now I’m settling down for C’s “average or under average grades” it’s really frustrating and i can’t control it… I really wanna save money but I’m failing at doing both:( I’m always stressed, irritated and angry because of how busy my schedule is and my inability to handle this whole situation.
Ps; i study computer information systems.
Ps; i used to have depression and i believe work is saving me from this.

  1. I am assuming you are a HS student
  2. Right now it probably seems great to make that much money, but it won’t help in the long run
  3. School needs to be your highest priority so you can go to college
  4. Get (re)evaluated by a doctor for depression.
  5. Go to part time or quit your job

Actually I’m a Bachelor’s student. A third year student. Saving money is good but today when i had a midterm and looked at the questions i found them too easy yet i couldn’t to solve anything but i didn’t practice enough… It’s frustrating. I had a breakdown today and kept crying at work

Seems like working 50 hours per week plus a demanding college major is too much. Your mind and body are telling you so. Can you reduce your hours of work to around 20 and still afford school and living expenses?
