My grades...say good-bye to ivies?

Ahh I'm screwed! haha. I actually am expecting admissions from the top commerce programs in Canada with my 92-96 average (This sem 98 so far, last sem 92) and my Ecs. (Ivey, Schulich, Queens, UofT, Laurier) But the US of a is a whole another league. Doesn't help that my SATs are sooo horrible! 1340 for 1 and 600,610 and 670 for math, eng, lit on 2s :s (I gave up pretty much after this)

Not even sure why I bombed it since normally I do really well on standardized tests such like our government holds.. Do most people actaully study just for the SATs or something :s I thought it was supposed to measure what I learned in ele->high school :S

Ali, see, you have already knocked out 2 Ivies from your list. I guess that leaves you with 6 but I would actually only recommend 5:
Brown University
Columbia University
Harvard University
Princeton University
University of Pennsylvania

Other schools you may want to look into are:
Georgetown University (limited to few majors)
Northwestern University
Stanford University
University of California-Berkeley
University of Chicago
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor
Washington University

Thx Alexandre! I noticed Yale isn't on the list...is it bec too difficult? Also, I heard Berkeley is extremely difficult for azn due to the % of azn applying, is this true?

I included Harvard, Princeton and Stanford didn't I? My not including Yale has nothing to do with selectivity. It has more to do with Yale not really fitting the description of your ideal setting.

As for Cal, I do not think you will be viewed as an Asian (since you are not American and you are not from Asia). You will probably be viewed as a Canadian.

does being Chinese Canadian affect their decision? bec the application does ask for origin or something...><
