My grades slipped a bit, how bad is that? :O

I mean, I did my best, but I guess I'm just not that great at math and science XD And English this year was pretty hard, too. I know junior year is a really important year that colleges look at, so is this going to look bad that I started getting a few more Bs? I know that I did my best and that's all that matters, but I've just been wondering whether my chances have dwindled because of this... :O

You’re fine, just maintain your grades :)

Downward trend is not a good sign… :/

Sent from my SGH-T959V using CC

Tippy top colleges recommend 3 years of foreign language in hs

You only got one b, it’s not the end of the world

Probably no chance at your flagship state university by this point.

It’s no big deal, don’t worry.

You’re fine for your state flagship pretty much anywhere, except maybe California, but even then you’d have a good shot.

You probably can’t get into the Ivies unless you have some other hook, but that’s basically the same case as people with 4.0 UW as the “not so special” 4.0 UW/2200+ SAT(even 2400) still get rejected.

what are you talking about? Those grades are great!

^I agree.

All I was saying is that Ivies would be very difficult…but they’d be difficult even with straight A’s.
