I am applying ED to Johns Hopkins University
I am applying regular to Reed, Tufts, Haverford, and University of MD College Park.
I am thinking about majoring in chem or another physical science but you never know...
Be honest about this, I'd rather take the pain now then when the letters come in thin packets.

I got a 4 on AP World hist.
I got 5s on AP US hist, Calc ab, english language, and govt/politics
I am in AP chem, AP calc bc, AP econ, AP english lit., AP statisitics, and AP physics C

Decent chance @ JHU ED. They have an extremely high acceptance rate ED (~40%) so your GPA will be less of a disadvantage there though it will still hurt. Are you applying for Biomedical Engineering? If you are, you have no chance at JHU. If you aren't, I'd say overall some very good chances since you have some good EC's, great SAT scores (esp. the M + CR, which is extremely high).

Look for schools' Common Data Set; Reed's is at Reed College 2007-08 Common Data Set. Section C shows what's important for admission and gives a profile of the last entering class; you can compare your test scores and grades. Sections E and J give some foci info.

I don't get why mensa doesn't help.. what BS.
Our IQ's are much better indicators of our potentials than our damn SAT scores. Would mensa help for say, UCSB? A place where the majority of the students aren't in mensa?
