Hi guys I am applying to Stanford RD next fall along with a bunch of other universities and I was wondering if my first semester senior grades will be counted in my gpa if the application is due on January 1st and my 1st semester ends on Jan. 15. Will they want a mid-semester report or something? That wouldnt be fair because those arent final... Anyways, I have a 3.9 gpa as of right now and I dont want it sinking to a 3.8 because of 1 B. Thanks.

I’m pretty sure they’re going to want it, if not with the rest of the application, at least when you do get the grades.

yeah but do they ask for an updated transcript or something?

yes, and I’m absolutely sure a B is going to kill your chances completely, so better be prepared for that rejection from your community college.

Better start that Macdonald’s application now, if you don’t want to beg on the streets.

As stated above me, 1 B won’t kill your chances.

Yes, they do have you send a mid-year report after first semester grades are available. If there are any B’s on it, your application goes in the garbage. But not before they scan your transcript and project it on the big screen in MemAud before Sunday Flicks for the student body’s amusement.

actually, I already have a bunch of B’s… I just dont want another one. geez.

I was just wondering if they factored the mid-year report into the gpa…
